In 2019, Finn Residence Hall opened at Santa Clara University. It is home to 368 students enjoying on-campus living and provides them with a multitude of lounge spaces, study rooms, and other amenities.

Stephen Finn is the lead donor to Santa Clara University.

A 10-year-long vision realized Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit High School was founded in 2014. Through a generous donation, Stephen Finn provided the school with Finn Hall Math & Science Center, as well as scholarships for students. Mr. Finn serves as a current member of the school's Board of Directors.
